Abstract

The interaction of selected fluorescent Pseudomonads (P. fluorescens and P. putida) with the roots of wheat seedlings was studied using a gnotobiotic system with sand. The strains were obtained as predominant isolates from wheat and maize rhizospheres. Fingerprint characterization at the strain level by two-dimensional (2D) analysis of total bacterial proteins aided in the inventory of our Pseudomonas collection.
