Through its subsidiary, Colonial Bank, Co. conducts general commercial banking business in its respective service areas and offers a variety of demand, savings and time deposit products as well as extensions of credit through personal, commercial and mortgage loans within each of its market areas through 301 in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Nevada and Texas. Co.'s Colonial Brokerage subsidiary provides full service and discount brokerage services and investment advice. As of Dec 31 2005, Co. had total assets of $21.43 billion and total deposits of $15.48 billion.
