Abstract

Abstract Collomia linearis Nutt. (Polemoniaceae) naturalized near Belluno, Northern Italy. – Collomia linearis Nutt., a North American Poleomoniacea, has been found naturalized in the gravelly stream-bed of the Pettorina, near Rocca Pietore (province of Belluno), at about 1200 m on s.l. The Pettorina is a seasonal stream and quite without water during the main part of the year. Most of its water comes down from the Marmolada (3342 m). Description and information about the species and its naturalization in Europe are given.
