Abstract
The article examines the principle of operation, the basic laws of electrostatic spraying of fluid, which constitutes the working process of colloid thrusters (CT). The features of two competing technologies for producing charged colloids based on the design of capillary type sprayers and the design of porous sprayers are considered. The experience of CT development and application is considered.
