Abstract
Collisional ionization of sodium and barium vapors resonantly excited with c.w. or pulsed laser sources, and subsequent electron-atom energy transfers, are studied by electron spectroscopy. Cross sections for associative and Penning ionization of sodium in excited states, are obtained.
