Abstract
The continuous electron energy distribution from KrXe collision at incident energies between 75 and 1050 keV have been investigated. These are associated with transitions between the quasimolecular autoionizing state and the continuum. The present investigation is devoted to the dependence of collision broadening on the projectile velocity v. A velocity dependence proportional to v 2 3 is observed in agreement with theoretical predictions.
