Abstract

This study examines the relationship between four levels of marijuana use and two forms of alienation (personal and societal). Marijuana use was significantly related to societal alienation but not to personal alienation. It was also found that heavy marijuana users perceived themselves to be more open to legal and societal harassment. Finally it was found that value hierarchies differed as a function of marijuana use.
