Abstract

A number of the younger artist-teachers, several of them just starting their teaching careers after having received the M.F.A. degree, have sent word to us of their new positions. Randall F. Sadler (Claremont) will teach drawing and painting at the University of Kansas. Hugh Gibbons has accepted an instructorship at the Department of Architecture and Allied Arts at Texas Technological College. William Arscott (Michigan State) will teach ceramics and basic studio art at Stephen F. Austin State College, Texas. George Garner (University of Georgia) has a position at Stephens College, Columbia, Missouri. John Miller (Saskatchewan) will teach at Nova Scotia College of Art, Halifax. Harold Bruder becomes acting chairman of the Graphic Design Department at The Kansas City Art Institute. Marvin Lowe (Berea) will be at Bucknell. Robert W. Ebendorf (University of Kansas) has received a Fulbright grant and will be studying in Norway. Robert P. Russell is at Wisconsin State College.
