Abstract

We have obtained the one-particle distribution function for a hot plasma in the limit of low and high magnetic fields and a time-dependent dispersion relation. The model discussed here is that a bunch of electrons exciting collective oscillations emit radiations with time-dependent frequencies and wave numbers. The model takes into account the nonequilibrium character of the process and the nonlinear effects are also included. It is worked out within the framework of irreversible statistical mechanics and we have adopted the self-consistent field approximation.
