Abstract

Granulocyte transfusions may be useful for patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) at high risk for the development of life-threatening infections during the neutropenic period. However, their usefulness depends on feasibility and safety of repeated collections of GCSF mobilized granulocytes from related donors.
