Collection and preparation of raw materials for the refractory industry

Abstract

The characteristic of sand, which is the raw material of silicate and clay bricks, glass and mineral fibers, is given. Sand is a part of ceramic products used for the production of refractory products. A number of vehicles for collecting dust-forming materials are proposed. A trowel unit has been developed for collecting sand in a quarry. A fluidized bed drying unit for drying wet sand with a detailed description of its operation is proposed. Ill. 2. Ref. 11.
