Abstract
ABSTRACTCoordination of the protein homeostasis network and redox states in eukaryotic cells is crucial for cellular and organismal fitness. By employing endogenous in vivo redox sensors we demonstrate that the redox state of the ER and cytosol is subject to profound changes upon proteotoxic challenges and during aging.
