Abstract

Collaborative Networked Organizations (CNO) are teams formed by a small number of people, small or medium business connected in net forming intelligent organizations, organizations in net or virtual organizations, with the finality of promoting bigger competitive edge, agility,capacity of innovation and exploration of new businesses. In this work, it was study a scientific editor which operation is based on the utility of resources of external work, which keeps relations with the focal business by means of ICT. The objective of the work was identify the extent to which the editor studied and their service providers (reviewers visual designer translators) operate along the lines of an organizational collaborative network, and identify the characteristics of this net. It's important to recognize the existence of CNOs, their forms of manifestation necessities and benefits as a form of better administration of it. The research desenvolved is the nature of exploratory with a descriptive metod on the apresentation of the results. As instruments for data collection with semi-structured interviews were used, and an electronic questionnaire. Based on Camarinha Matos & Afsarmanesh (2004), questions that indicate compliance or non-network arrangements for VO, VE, VBE, DVO, PVC, difficulties and benefits were developed. As a result of the survey it was observed that the architecture work CNO is a publisher, and the publisher has characteristics of a Virtual Enterprise EV and promotes a Virtual Breeding Enviroment VBE. The publisher acts as service broker, seeking funds primarily in Professional Virtual Community PVC. The benefits and risks of the model are well managed and ICT is used as the base enabler work mode.
