Abstract
This paper, based on the perceptions of participants, explores the barriers and challenges built into implementing inter-institutional collaboratives for delivering higher education programs. One outcome of the data analysis is the typology of collaboration presented in the paper. The paper also includes lessons learned and suggestions for future research on collaboration.
