But do practitioners too often leave out a key member of the team, one that is well positioned to help deliver better patient care? We're talking, of course, about corporate partners. The truth is, providers and industry share the same incentives. Like anesthesiologists, corporate partners want to help more patients, deliver better care, and improve outcomes. Indeed, it's in their best interest to do so. Practicing anesthesiologists can harness partnerships with medical device companies, pharmaceutical companies, or any other private organization that shares a practitioner's interest in order to drive toward organizational goals such as improving pain management, scaling operations, or simply seeing more patients.
