Abstract

This paper introduces the coke and deactivation of the catalyst in the aromatization reaction. The catalyst characterizations including thermogravimetric (TG) method and temperature-programmed oxidation (TPO) and coke calculation are discussed in detail. At the same time, the influence of the aromatization reaction conditions on the catalyst's coke and deactivation and the catalyst's deactivation kinetics are studied. The methods obtained are beneficial to improve the catalyst activity of aromatization reaction to adapt to the necessity of industrialization.
