Abstract

A population‐based cohort study has found that prenatal exposure to selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressants was associated with reduced brain volume in children aged 7 to 15. The study did not examine whether any of the observed changes in the brain predisposed these young people to any impairments.
