An inverse association for risk of breast cancer with total fibre and cereal fibre intake has been demonstrated in premenopausal, but not postmenopausal women.[9]
The top quintile of fibre intake was associated with a hazard ratio of 0.48 compared with the lowest quintile
An exploration of dietary acrylamide intake in relation to breast cancer risk in the cohort found no evidence of association
