Abstract

This paper proposes a coherent integration method for random pulse repetition interval (PRI) and staggered pulse width (PW) radar. After analyzing the signal model of random PRI and staggered PW radar, it can be seen that the random PRI will introduce the problems of irregular RCM and the non-uniform phase fluctuations among different pulses. Meanwhile, the staggered PW will cause the irregular range-Doppler coupling effect. Therefore, the method based on Radon-Nonuniform Fast Fourier Transform (Radon-NUFFT) is proposed to solve the problems introduced by the random PRI and staggered PW. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulation experiments.
