Abstract
To eliminate the influence of light emission during cathodic sputtering, which affects the output signal of a coherent forward scattering (CFS) resonance monochromator, a pulsed glow discharge and time-resolved signal processing were adopted. The signal-to-noise ratio of the CFS signal can be improved by adopting these techniques. A spectrometric system with this CFS resonance monochromator was constructed and spectroscopic analysis was performed for radiation from a Grimm glow discharge lamp using Cu-Ni cathode samples.
