Abstract

Subject. This article examines the issue of the implementation of private business initiative and the involvement of young people in entrepreneurial activities. Objectives. The article aims to structure the factors that determine the transition from entrepreneurial intentions to entrepreneurial activity. Methods. For the study, we used mathematical research methods. Results. The article finds that the main factors influencing the entrepreneurial activity of young people are the State policy in the field of regulation and support of entrepreneurship, social norms and attitudes to entrepreneurship in society, as well as the general economic situation. Relevance. The results of the study can be used when designing programmes for the development of the labor market in the regions of Russia.
