Abstract
In order to test the assumption that Rorschach human movement responses ( M) are related to cognitive development and role-taking ability, 128 boys, who were differentiated according to cognitive level, were given a Role Taking Task and individually administered Rorschachs requiring two responses per card, without inquiry. Significant relationships were found between M and the other two variables, but the relationships were not strong. It is suggested that the procedure of obtaining only two responses per card, without inquiry, limited M production and weakened the relationships.
