Abstract

Cognitive behavior therapy, common in Britain and gaining popularity in America, can be especially helpful for children and adolescents with emotional, behavior and psychiatric disorders, according to the November 1995 Archives of Disease in Childhood . Cognitive behavior therapy has shown early promise in treatment of childhood depression, anxiety, the impulsivity of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, aggression and eating disorders, according to the report.
