Abstract

• PCOS is a known cardiovascular risk factor for women and belong to the categories of sex-specific risk factors • Coffee consumption was associated with a decreased risk of asymptomatic atherosclerosis in pre-menopausal women. • Coffee could be an excellent functional beverage, containing a range of polyphenolic compounds.
