Abstract
A phenomenological model uniting the London model of superconductivity and the micromagnetic approach to ferromagnetism is applied to new examples of coexistence of ferromagnetism and superconductivity revealed in recent experiments: (i) Type-I superconductivity in a nuclear ferromagnet AuIn 2 ; (ii) Type-II high-Tc superconductivity in a compound R 1.5 Ce 0.5 RuSr 2 Cu 2 O 10 which is weakly ferromagnetic.
