Abstract
There are various energy carriers for CO 2 global recycling system. Here selected two major syn-fuels, a CO 2-methanol, and a CO 2-LNG, aiming at both CO 2 depression, and utilization of remote new energy resource (CO 2 =C source). The calorific capacity [cal/mol-CO 2] of CH 4 is superior that of CH 3OH. However, the CH 4-system involves much energy consuming process (liquefction and LNG tanker). In the viewpoint of energy consumption of total system, CO 2-methanol system is available ingeneral. However the CO 2-LNG system becomes also hopeful on the local condition such as gas field near a desert. Because there is a coexistence of a rich solar energy and LNG-infra system, additionally often in the case of CO 2-rich natural gas field.
