Abstract

AbstractConjugated microporous Polymers (CMPs) are an emerging porous material with a high specific surface area, which has a wide range of applications in heterogeneous catalysis and gas separation etc. Here we report a new class of Zn‐salen based conjugated microporous polymer (Zn‐salen‐CMP) by Sonogashira‐Hagihara coupling reaction from the Zn‐salen compound and 1,3,5‐tris[4′‐(ethynyl)phenyl]benzene. The Zn‐salen‐CMP has extraordinary ability to capture and convert CO2 into cyclic carbonates for up to 8 times repeated experiments without any influence on activity.
