Abstract

Carbon neutralization is a new way of environmental protection, in which carbon capture is the core of carbon neutralization. Firstly, the preparation method of polyanthraquinone/multi-walled carbon nanotube composites (PAQ/MWCNTs) was studied. The composites were prepared by magnetic stirring and centrifugal separation. The working electrode was prepared by using the composite material for carbon capture. A three-electrode system was established to capture carbon dioxide when the reduction potential was applied and to release carbon dioxide when the oxidation potential was applied by cyclic voltammetry. It is found that the carbon dioxide capture effect of the polyanthraquinone/multi-walled carbon nanotube composite prepared in this study reaches 7.80mmol/g, and the material utilization rate reaches 73.4%.
