Abstract

Intraoperative Hypotension (IOH) was reported to associated with higher complication, cost and mortality after surgeries as compare with surgeries without IOH. Hypotension reduction may be associated with cost saving, specifically hospitalization. In this study, we aimed to determine the real-world IOH burden in Taiwan by using national health insurance database to understand the outcome difference in patients with or without IOH.
