Abstract

In this issue of Chem Catalysis, Gao et al. describe the first example of synthesis of cobalt single-atom catalysts (SACs) for reductive amination of levulinic acid and various ketoacids with amines, nitros, or nitriles. The cobalt SACs showed remarkable catalytic activity and excellent substrate applicability.
