Abstract
Co(II)-MOF {[Co2(L)2(H2O)6]·2H2O}n (Co-1, H2L = 2,5-pyridine dicarboxylic acid) was syntheized and coated at an Au electrode (AuE) surface to assemble a modified electrode (Co-1/AuE). It was used as a electrochemical sensor for recognizing and distinguishing isomeric aromatic derivatives 1-naphthylamine (1-NA) and 2-naphthylamine(2-NA). The experiments indicated that Co-1 shows excellent electrochemical stability and electro-conductivity, 1-NA or 2-NA can be detected on Co-1/AuE with different reduction peak potentials 0.28 V or 0.38 V, the DPV response of Co-1/AuE to 1-NA or 2-NA is linear at 0.01–0.09 mM with the detection limits as low as 1.477 μM or 1.932 μM, respectively. Furthermore, Co-1/AuE also been used as a chemical sensor for the selectivity detection of 1-NA or 2-NA from both a single interferent component solution and a mimic environment.
