Abstract

Low-coercive bulk amorphous compacts with relative density 99 were prepared by compaction of ball milled Co56Fe16Zr8B20 ribbons in the supercooled-liquid state. Further, addition of nanocrystalline Fe72.5Cu1Nb2Mo2Si15.5B7 powder to the Co56Fe16Zr8B20 powder causes a decrease of the magnetostriction of the resultant bulk samples.
