Abstract

Prior to their participation in a reaction-time (RT) task with an inter-stimulus interval (ISI) of 1 sec, four groups of six subjects were given passive trials with an ISI duration of either 1 sec, 5 sec, 0.5–5.1 sec at random, or without any ISI (no stimulus pairing). Results indicate that the development of CNV and its relations with RT specifically depend on the particular ISI considered.
