Abstract

Previous, retrospective single institutional and registry analyses have suggested that pre-existing central nervous system (CNS) involvement was not a contraindication for AHCT for patients with non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). We analyzed the outcomes of 151 (64% male) adult recipients of AHCT with NHL and CNS involvement identified at any time prior to transplant and compared them to 4688 AHCT with no CNS lymphoma involvement during the years 1990-2005. Median follow-up of survivors was 77 months. Significant baseline differences were noted between the groups.
