Abstract

Aiming at the problem of low production efficiency caused by the unreasonable setting of cutting parameters for CNC machining of hydro-turbine runner blade, the Force module of VERICUT software is used to analyze and compare the cutting force, the cutting power, and the material removal rate of the blade under different cutting parameters, find the cutting parameters that can give full play to the machining capacity of the machine tool, and use the optimization function of Force to automatically adjust the feed speed in the machining program. The test results show that after the optimization of cutting parameters, the production efficiency of the NC machining program is significantly improved, and the cutting power of the machine tool spindle is stable.
