Abstract

Nurses have a key role in providing the best possible quality of health care. Cancer nurses are leaders for a reformed and better integrated, patient-centered holisitic approach in the health care system. They have different roles in cancer care and need to be academically prepared to positively impact the outcomes of healthcare, undergoing specialised trainings and educations. The aim of this study was to examine the opinions of young cancer nurses in Croatia for the need of educating leaders in cancer nursing and to determine the existence of differences in opinions between young cancer nurses and cancer nurses aged more than 35years old.
