Abstract

Examples of implementation of continuous time current mode wave active filters in CMOS technology are given. The circuits derived are well suited for integration. The tuning process is simple and the filters are inherently adaptable. The tuning of filter Q using G/sub m/ tuning is demonstrated. It is shown that for medium-frequency filters phase tuning is not required, and that for high-frequency filters the Q of filters can be tuned by tuning amplifier G/sub m/ values. The effects of imperfections on filter performance are discussed. >
