Abstract

We present here some reflections based on the study of a case corresponding to the practice of a Geography memorable teacher, taking into account some aspects related to her work. Her current students, and also the graduated ones, value her outstanding work while promoting critical thinking and the fact that it helps to build more significative ways of learning and teaching the discipline. The research was made with a qualitative methodological design under an interpretative perspective. Two interviews were made to the teacher, and we observed some of her classes at a University of the city of Santa Fe, Argentina. By this means, we could get to know deeply her performance and the senses on which she based her teaching practice.
