Abstract

We measured the temperature variations of magnetizations and Mossbauer spectrum of the diluted antiferromagnet Fe 0.26 Zn 0.74 F 2 . We have shown that the temperature variation of the Mossbauer spectrum is nicely explained in an aspect of dynamical behavior of the antiferromagnetic (AF) clusters. By combining the results of the magnetization and Mossbauer measurements, we have inferred that the spin-glass like freezing occurs at T f =9.7 K not among individual spins but among the AF clusters. Therefore, we have concluded that Fe 0.26 Zn 0.74 F 2 is a cluster-glass system and should be distinguished from an ordinary spin-glass system.
