Abstract
Abstract We propose a μ-truncation method for the multi-cluster orthogonality condition model (OCM) to reduce the large number of basis states. The cluster structures in the highly-excited states of 24Mg are discussed on the basis of solutions obtained by the 16O+2α OCM.
