Abstract

Formation of clusters in high-energy p-nucleus interactions at 800 GeV and 4He-nucleus interactions at approximately 11-140 A GeV has been investigated with the technique of pseudorapidity gap distributions. The existence of many-particle short-range correlations is observed in all cases. The estimated cluster sizes are larger in 4He-nucleus data than in p-nucleus data.
