Abstract

To effectively use the large supplies of wood material obtained from forest thinning, research focused on developing cross-laminated timber (CLT) structures is increasing globally. However, the earthquake resistance of CLT structures is considered insufficient owing to the relationships between the force and deformation of CLT structures exhibiting pinched hysteresis behavior with slippage.
