Abstract

Each image is divided into squares by this module, from which the user selects one to serve as the pass-square. A 7 x 11 grid is used to split a picture. The password space increases as the discretized image size decreases. Yet, an excessively focused division might make it harder to operate the user interface on palm-sized mobile devices and cause problems with object detection. As 60 pixels is the optimal size for precisely selecting certain items on touch displays, a division was set at 60-pixel intervals in both the horizontal and vertical axes in our solution.
