Polyethylene glycol as cationic surfactant with low cloud point is used for separation of chromium , manganaze, silver , cupper, ferric and cadmium ions in aqueous media. Addition of ammonium pyrrollidine dithiocarbamate (APDC)as chelating agent is tested. The variables of the cloud point preconcentration procedure were: complexing agent volume, Polyethylene glycol volume, metal ions concentration, temperature, foreign ions, centrifugation time and rates, and pH
