Abstract
AbstractIt has been shown that the three Umbelliferae species, distributed in Eastern Himalaya, and previously referred to the genera Angelica and Peucedanum, are very similar in their characters, including carpological ones, to the genus Arcuatopterus, which was regarded as Chinese endemic. Three new nomenclatural combinations are proposed. A key is provided to the six species of Arcuatopterus now recognized, and a nomenclatural summary is also given. The generic area does not go limits beyond of the East Asian floristic subingdom (from Sichuan to Nepal, Sikkim and Khasia Hills).
