Abstract

Integration of renewable energy sources to DC grid is a challenging task. If several individual sources are connected to the grid through power electronic converters, circuit complexity is more and power management is complex. This led to the introduction of multi input dc to dc converter. In this paper, three sources, which are renewable energy sources, are connected to a dc micro grid using a multi input dc to dc converter. The sources inject power to the grid based on the power demanded by the load at a constant dc grid voltage. The closed loop simulation of the multi input dc to dc converter is done on Matlab/Simulink Platform. The converter is tested for load regulation. Power management is done by Fuzzy Logic Controller
