Abstract
AbstractA new, very simple curve‐fitted expression is presented for the radiation resistance of resonant rectangular microstrip antennas. It is derived from numerical results available in the literature, and is useful for the computer‐aided design (CAD) of microstrip antennas. This expression can be used for a wide range of substrate thicknesses and permittivities. The results obtained by using this expression are in conformity with those reported elsewhere. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
