Abstract
1. 1. The use of a closed circuit television unit in electrocorticography and brain stimulation is described. 2. 2. By this means the bulky electronic gear is kept out of the operating room, within easy access of the electroencephalographer. 3. 3. The surgeon has immediately visible an enlarged imaged of the continuous record with little distraction from the operative field, so that he may readily follow the stimulation responses or progress of the patient. 4. 4. The ideal system would include a second camera unit. This would provide the electroencephalographer with a detailed view of the operative field. 5. 5. The mobility of the unit and its adaptability provides controlled electrocorticography without the need of special construction or expensive structural alterations in an operating theatre.
