Abstract

The world is facing significant geopolitical and economic challenges. This paper explores the current value of close out netting provisions as a result of the recent coronavirus outbreak. It examines the netting provisions of Australia, European Union, United Kingdom and the United States. The paper makes the argument that as states increasingly turn inward, upholding the current international legal framework will be more important.
