Abstract

Objective To explore the clinicopathological features,molecular immunophenotypes and prognosis of papillary carcinoma of breast.Methods All the 320 cases of papillary carcinoma of breast were analyzed for clinicopathological and molecular features.Results The 5-year overall survival rate of ductal papillary carcinoma (95.38%) and 5-year disease-free survival rate (92.31% ) were higher than those in invasive papillary carcinoma (83.90% and 79.66% respectively).Luminal A subtype had the highest 5-year overall survival rate (91.43%).Conclusion Biologic behaviors of ductal papillary carcinoma are more favorable than those of invasive papillary carcinoma.Luminal A-positive tumors have a better prognosis.
